Giants of Islamic Knowledge Muslims DO NOT Need!
Who have little faith and confidence in Islam’s creed, statements, and practices, and in Islam’s ability to explain its creed, statements, and practices without outside influence;
Who have little faith and confidence in Islam’s creed, statements, and practices, and in Islam’s ability to explain its creed, statements, and practices without outside influence;
Who have knowledge in the Quran and Sunnah and the way of the generation that received, practiced, and accurately transmitted the Quran and Sunnah;
Agreed! John 17:3 quoted Jesus’ statement, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Also, 1 Timothy 2:5 declares, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
Christians love to call Jesus, The Prince of Peace. Indeed, Prophet `Esa (Jesus), peace be on him, is a prince of peace, an extraordinary man, a true human prophet, the Al-Masee’h (Messiah), a patient and courageous messenger from Allah.
It seems that some Christians will stop at nothing in their quest to defame Islam, including promoting a set of outrageous lies, such as the obvious slander contained in this article:
he evangelists say: “This ‘Allah’ was the Moon-god according to the archeological evidence. Muhammad thus attempted to have it both ways. To the pagans, he said that he still believed in the Moon-god Allah. To the Jews and the Christians, he said that Allah was their God too. But both the Jews and the Christians knew better and that is why they rejected his god Allah as a false god.”
The evangelicals say: “This is true is seen from the fact that the pagan Arabs never accused Muhammad of preaching a different Allah than the one they already worshipped.”
The evangelicals say: “This fact answers the questions, ‘Why is Allah never defined in the Qur’an? Why did Muhammad assume that the pagan Arabs already knew who Allah was?’”
The evangelicals say: “The fact that they were given such names by their pagan parents (such as the Prophet’s father’s name: Abdullah) proves that Allah was the title for the Moon-god even in Muhammad’s day. Prof. Coon goes on to say, ‘Similarly, under Mohammed’s tutelage, the relatively anonymous Ilah, became Al-Ilah, The God, or Allah, the Supreme Being.’”
The evangelicals say: “While the name of the Moon-god was Sin, his title was al-ilah, i.e. “the deity,” meaning that he was the chief or high god among the gods… As Coon pointed out, ’The god Il or Ilah was originally a phase of the Moon God.”
