Monotheism vs Polytheism: Tau`heed vs Tathleeth (Trinity)

An Evangelical Extremist wrote: According to the Holy Bible, there is only One true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Galatians 3:20).

Agreed!  John 17:3 quoted Jesus’ statement, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Also, 1 Timothy 2:5 declares, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

It would be rather silly to read these two verses this way, had Jesus been God at any time that is, “And this is life eternal, that they might know me the only true God, and Jesus Christ (myself), whom I hath sent.” Or for the Bible to declare, “For there is one God, and one God between God and men, the God Christ Jesus.”

Note: The Holy Ghost, who Christians also declare is God, is suspiciously absent in the above biblical verses.

God (Allah) has always been described as One, only One, the only True God. Christians do not agree: They call their creed ‘Trinity,’ not ‘One-nity,’ because they believe in three different gods, not one God, but three distinct gods who have three different jobs, three different personalities, three different actions, three different roles, three different essences, three different experiences, three different fates. How can anyone state that God is only One True God and then go on to defend his faith that one actually means three, one in three and three in one: this is Polytheism (Shirk) in its truest essence.

Jesus, for instance, died, as Christians claim, but God did not die. The Holy Ghost did not die, either. John 17:3 agrees that Jesus is not God, because when referring to God, Jesus said, ‘Thee,’ not, ‘Me,’ and when referring to his own status, he said, ‘whom though hast sent,’ not, ‘whom I hath sent.’

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Agreed! La ilaha illa-Allah (there is no ilah (God), except Allah), `Esa Rasulu-Allah (Jesus is the Messenger of Allah). Here Jesus clearly declares that he is human not divine.
