YQ: “I am a Sunni, and firmly believe that all of the Companions of the Prophet (SAW) are righteous people. Anyone who slanders them insults the Messenger (SAW) himself.”

YQ: “I believe Shi’ites have incorrect beliefs and a misguided theology regarding … their Imams, the role of Ali b. Abi Talib, and the status of the Companions. I pray that Allah guides them to the truth.”

YQ: “People –out of ignorance- think that Sunnis and Shi`as can cooperate.”

YQ: “Of their (Shia) beliefs is that their twelve Imams control the creation … what type of shirk is this? Shirk in rububiyyah … and I have read this in Khomeini’s book … al-`Hukumah al-Islamiyyah … I read this myself … I am speaking of the Shia religion based upon certain knowledge … I have their main book … Usul al-Kafi … I read [its] chapters … I know what the Shia believe. ”

YQ: “I kind of took what was taught to me [about Shia] from a certain theological background and accepted it without verification.”

YQ: “I regret what I said [about Shia].”

YQ: “I am now a different person.”

Face 3

YQ: “I have never once called for ‘unification’ with Shi’ites. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar (and the Quran tells us what Allah’s verdict is on liars).”
