The shooter is just a white teenager, confused, mentally ill. He needs rest at a medical facility to treat his condition. Death penalty? No. What church he went to, what teaching his family gave him, the websites or tv programs where he learned ‘White Replacement’ ideas: not a thing, because he’s just confused.
Terrorism? No. He killed ten people. Let’s give him 3 months in a mental facility for each person he killed. Which means he could be out for the Thanksgiving dinner next year.
Well, that might be an exaggeration. But watch what the media says and what the police investigates in the next few weeks reveals, and the sentence he will get, if convicted that is. He pleaded not guilty you know! He is innocent until proven guilty, you know. Do not prejudge him. He will have his day in court, you know.
Now if it was a Muslim, it’s an entirely different case. Even if it was a teenage Muslim man, who only shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ at a supermarket, no shooting, he will be taken to jail, his family and friends investigated, his internet browsing studied by terrorism experts, the EEEMMMAAM who taught at his local masjid, the websites that taught him JEEEHHHAD, how and when he became radicalized: all this will be analyzed and duly investigated.
The hypocrisy of the media and western system is well known, especially to them. The funny thing is that they don’t feel bored at it, even though they have been practicing it for many decades. Imagine if the shooting was done by a teenage Muslim man, mentally ill, confused. Who really believes that the reaction from government and the media would be the same?
Well, I think that the topic of the death penalty should be in the hands of the families of the ten victims. The ten people were trying to buy groceries, to live. They did not count on this little freak ending their life like this.
