Daughters of Allah!

Is Allah the Moon God?

The evangelicals say: “’Daughters of Allah’ have also been discovered. The three daughters, al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat are sometimes depicted together with Allah, the Moon-god, represented by a crescent moon above them.”

Response

The first question we should ask here is, where is the precise reference in any of these claimed archeological discoveries wherein ‘Allah’ is defined as the moon god?

Even if the idol-worshippers did call their idols, Allah, or derivatives of this name, how would that affect the fact that Allah is the Name of the Creator? In other words, if someone made an idol of stone and called it, God, how would that have detrimental effect on the fact that, to those who currently use the term, God, they mean by it the Creator?

Before KJV of the Bible Was Ever Written, Arabi Bibles Called the Creator by His Name, ‘Allah.’

Evangelicals do not like to call Allah by His true Name, ‘Allah.’ Yet, the name ‘Allah’ is found in the Arabi Bibles that have been printed in the West by evangelical Christians -in the tens of millions- and freely distributed in poor Arab and Muslim countries to preach their ‘Monotheistic’ Trinitarian Gospel to ‘Pagan’ Muslim Monotheists!

For evidence, in the first verse found in the version of the Bible entitled, The Arabic Smith & Van Dyke Bible, ‘Allah’ is used to describe the Creator:

Furthermore, “The Mt. Sinai Arabic Codex 151 is indeed a most exciting discovery. It appears to be the oldest Arabic translation of the Bible in existence which was done in 867 AD … It was discovered at St. Catherine monastery in Mt. Sinai in the 1800’s.”

The ‘oldest copy’ of the Arabi Bible referred to here, uses the name ‘Allah’ when describing the Creator.

Did Jesus Ever Call the Creator by the word, ‘God’?

First, here is a challenge to Judaism and Christendom to produce a single original manuscript of the Old Testament or the New Testament that uses the name, ‘God’ to describe the Creator!

Second, “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46)

Third, here is the very first verse in the ‘version’ of the Bible called, Transliterated Pronounceable, Genesis 1:1, “Bree’shiyt baaraa’ ‘Elohiym ‘eet hashaamayim w’eethaa’aarets.” Transliterated into English, this verse reads like this in KJV, “In the beginning God (Elohiym) created the heaven and the earth.”

Elohiym, Il, Eli, Ilu, Ilah, Allah, God

Which Word Does NOT Belong?

‘God,’ was never used in any ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, or Latin Judeo-Christian scripture manuscripts.

Etymology of the Word ‘God’: “(Anglo-Saxon God; German Gott; akin to Persian khoda; Hindu khooda). God can variously be defined as: the proper name of the one Supreme and Infinite Personal Being, the Creator and Ruler of the universe, to whom man owes obedience and worship; the common or generic name of the several supposed beings to whom, in polytheistic religions, Divine attributes are ascribed and Divine worship rendered; the name sometimes applied to an idol as the image or dwelling-place of a god.”

Therefore, the fact that ‘god’ was applied to an idol, for instance, doesn’t adversely affect the fact that for centuries now, ‘God,’ is used by mostly Christians to refer to the Creator. Likewise, Allah is the name of the Creator used in the Hebrew and Arab cultures. What if some idol-worshippers made an idol and called it, Allah? Allah is still the Creator of everything. Allah has denounced the idol-worshippers in the Quran for worshipping idols and calling them, Allah’s daughters, or, Al-Lat, Al-`Uzza, and, Manat

The Arabs, the children of Prophet Isma`eel (Ishmael), and the Israelites, the children of Prophet Ya`qub (Jacob), are cousins, being the children of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), as the Bible itself clearly declares. “1.  Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar…3. And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian…and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife…15. And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.” (Genesis 16:1-15)

Note how these verses affirm that the honorable Hagar (Hajar) was Prophet Abraham’s (Ibrahim’s) wife, not his personal slave as is claimed! In addition, the Arabs are the descendants of Prophet Ishmael, the son of Abraham and Hagar, may Allah’s mercy be on them. Therefore, whether the Jews like it or not, the Arabs and the Children of Israel are cousins.

To continue, ‘Elohiym,’ is Hebrew for, ‘Al-Ilah,’ in reference to, Allah. Abraham was an Arab from today’s Iraq. The Hebrew people are Abraham’s descendants. The Arabs are also Abraham’s descendants. The Hebrew legacy started with Abraham, “Abram the Hebrew” (Genesis 14:13). Additionally, the Arabi Language is much older than the Hebrew Language, and in Arabi, the Creator has always been called, ‘Allah.’

Conclusion: The Name of the Creator is, ‘Allah.’

The evangelicals made Allah, Who denounced the pagans for worshipping the idols which they named, Al-Lat, Al-`Uzza, and, Manat, the god of the moon, and then made these idols His actual daughters. However, Allah said, {Have you then considered Al Lât, and Al ‘Uzzâ (two idols of the pagan Arabs). And Manât (another idol of the pagan Arabs), the other third? Is it for you the males and for Him the females? That indeed is a division most unfair! They are but names which you have named (invented), you (idol-worshippers) and your fathers, for which Allâh has sent down no authority. They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire, whereas there has surely, come to them the guidance from their Lord.} (53:19-23)

Examine Allah’s powerful words here directed at the idol-worshippers, “They are but names which you have named (invented) you and your fathers for which Allâh has sent down no authority.”Al-Lat, Al-`Uzza, and, Manat, are but names invented by idol-worshippers, and then, propagated by them, as well as modern-day evangelicals, as being Allah’s daughters. They did and do that, without authority from Allah. Allah denounced them in the Quran for this act of polytheism. Hence, whether they call the idols Allah’s daughters or not, Allah denounced this as an injustice and an act of shirk, (polytheism). The evangelicals just don’t make any sense!
