About Us

The Organization

Madinah Publishers and Distributors, was established in, 2000 in Florida, USA, as a publishing company.

We have branched out to include, Madinah Center, its charity subsidiary, and www.IslamLife.com, the primary website for Madinah Publishers and Distributors.

It is an active website containing thousands of posts about every aspect of Islam and life.

IslamLife.com brand is owned and managed by Jalal Abualrub, MPD’s director, chief translator and author, and his wife, Alaa Mencke, chief editor of MPD.

The Mission

The Quran, Prophet Muhammad’s Sunnah traditions, and all original Islamic resources, are all in Arabi.

With most Muslims currently being non-Arabs, they have limited direct access to the original Arabi resources of Islam.

Despite the myriad of non-Arab Muslims and non-Muslims, the Islamic library, in other than the Arabi language, remains limited and often contains works that are contrary to the Sunnah and often times, cause harm to Islam or present the reader with useless knowledge.

Because we at Madinah Publishers and Distributors (MPD), and, Madinah Center (MC), which is our charity branch, are aware of the need to provide correct, authentic Islamic knowledge to non-Arabi speaking community worldwide, our mission is to …

  1. Translate the knowledge of Islam into various languages, as a means of introducing Islam and the legacy of Muhammad, the Prophet of Mercy J, to the non-Arabi speaking;

  2. Eliminate archaic and complicated language, strive to explain Islamic terms, and provide ample details for Islam’s tenets and various aspects.

  3. Provide easy to understand, easy to read books, booklets and pamphlets, in addition to multi-media Da’wah products, educational seminars, and conferences to bring non-Arab Muslims and non-Muslims closer to the knowledge of Islam.

Allah willing, we will soon add other languages, to widen the reach of the Islamic message.

Our production is now primarily in English, with German, French and other major languages to come, Allah willing.

Jalal Abualrub

Director of, Madinah Publishers and Distributors (MPD), and, Madinah Center (MC).
