For most of the audience that reads for AnsweringIslam, Arabi looks like ancient Greek and ancient Hebrew: they can read, understand and pronounce neither, and certainly, can verify not if a translation of either language is accurate or not.
However, unlike the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament, the Quran and Sunnah, the resource and foundation of the Islamic Creed, acts of worship, practices, dealings and knowledge, still exist in their original language and original form. In addition, there are hundreds of millions of Arabs and non-Arabs, Muslim and non-Muslim, who speak Arabi, who can read, understand and properly pronounce the text of the Quran and Sunnah and can help verify if a translation of either resource is accurate or not.
